What is Neo Tokyo Identities?
Neo Tokyo Identities is an NFT collection used to create digital representations of people and real objects such as art and music.
The collection was launched in October 2021 by popular YouTube crypto bloggers Alex Becker and EllioTrades. The core set includes 2,027 Identities and 2,500 vaults (Vault Cards). In fact, Neo Tokyo Identities is not just a single NFT collection, it is a complete ecosystem with inseparable and consistent components which are described in detail in Neo Tokyo Identities Ecosystem section.
The tokens themselves are lines of code that contain many aspects and are extremely useful for the citizens of Neo Tokyo. The project is based on the 1987 anime film Neo Tokyo, set in a dystopian world.
According to the creators of the collection, it was the most honest NFT drop ever. There were no pre-sales, and minting the tokens cost nothing, and the creators of the project keep only one NFT each.
People I know message me all day asking whats next, whats happening.
I give them a middle finger emoji.
No one outside of me, Elliot, and the dev has ANY info or edge.
No pre sales. No early influencer who get buys. All free mints.
Fairest NFT drop in history.

To take part in the Neo Tokyo Identities project, users had to cope with the puzzles that the authors of the project set before them. The most successful ones received a certain identifier (id) as a reward, but they did not yet know exactly what its functionality was.

At the end of the quests, users received three additional NFTs – Vault Card, Item, and Land Deeds. They were also given the opportunity to get the cryptocurrency $BYTES which would have circulation in the world of Neo Tokyo.
Neo Tokyo Identities in numbers

- Minting was absolutely free.
- The total volume of secondary sales exceeded 14.5k ETH (over $26M at the current exchange rate).
- Total sales of all ecosystem projects exceeded 45k ETH (over $80 million).

Who created Neo Tokyo Identities?
The authors of the Neo Tokyo Identities collection are YouTube bloggers:
- Alex Becker @ZssBecker,
- EllioTrades @elliotrades.
Alex Becker is a mega-popular media personality and crypto fan who served in the Air Force before entering big business. He has founded several digital marketing startups like Source Wave, Market Hero and Hyros, which bring him millions of dollars.
Alex Becker’s YouTube channel has 1.33 million subscribers. Videos produced by Alex are often flamboyant and entertaining. Mostly Becker is engaged in forecasting market trends. At the same time he always emphasizes that his videos are not investment recommendations.
Elliot Wainman is a crypto enthusiast behind the nickname EllioTrades. It is known that he studied history at the University of California and is an expert on American-Israeli relations by profession. Wainman collaborated with TicTokLabs Inc. while working for which he created the puzzle game Poptok for effective foreign language learning. Wainman was also one of the founders of the startup SuperFarm, now known as SuperVerse.
Now Wainman, like his colleague Alex Becker, runs a popular YouTube channel where he discusses various issues related to cryptocurrencies.
Why is Neo Tokyo Identities popular?
Now many crypto enthusiasts see Neo Tokyo Identities as an attractive and promising opportunity. And there are good reasons for that:
- The team hosts exciting and unique events. For example, in December 2021, an upcoming meta tournament was announced that would be streamed live on Twitch. This has never happened before in the history of crypto games. The competition had a prize pool of as much as $400K.
Oh totally forgot to mention. The META Tournament…
You know that massive gaming tournament Neo Tokyo is streaming with $400k in prize, influencer players, thousands of participants…

- An NFT character owned by a Neo Tokyo resident is capable of earning a special currency BYTES every day.
- Project participants can purchase digital art and merchandise from the Neo Tokyo team in a special store.
- One of the project’s plans is to develop a full-fledged Neo Tokyo metaverse in which NFT avatars would act as characters. In addition, the project will invest in cryptogames, as well as provide its members with access to them.
Neo Tokyo Identities Idea
The goal of the Neo Tokyo project is to create a close-knit community whose membership can bring significant benefits to its members in the long run (e.g., in the form of passive income from token staking and other perks).
The powerful impetus behind the project was Alex Becker’s desire to create a community that includes enthusiastic users interested in crypto space, crypto games and metaverses, and who definitely believe in the great future of the digital space and the gaming industry. And, above all, the authors of the project insist that this should be a long-term collaboration:
Our goal is to punish and hurt flippers/short term fomos in and out.
This is a culture of long term participation.
Citizens that are active, participate, pay attention etc are going to catch things and have a huge advantage over passive holders or flippers.

Neo Tokyo is an NFT collection of VCs, developers, token founders, and highly proficient builders all gathered in one exclusive area of web3. That’s what creators say on the official website of the project
Neo Tokyo Identities Roadmap
As one of the authors of the project, Alex Becker, states, the project does not and will not have a roadmap. Promising anything in advance is not the way the “fathers” of Neo Tokyo Identities are going to go. Refusing from long-term plans, Alex Becker strives to constantly delight the community members with unexpected pleasant news.
Just another BIG NOTE :
At NT we are never going to give a roadmap or pre-emptively promise anything.
Holders will just wake up and something will have dropped or changed on the website.
My goal is to constantly pleasantly surprise and catch holders off guard with new value. https://t.co/Uf9tgobtwn

Neo Tokyo Identities Ecosystem
The Neo Tokyo Identities project has released 2 Seasons of tokens. The first season (Season 1) of the collection includes the internal inhabitants of the NT digital world, the so-called Inner Citizens.
The entire Season 1 collection is divided into 4 large categories:
- Identities,
- Vault Cards,
- Item Caches,
- Land Deeds.
Neo Tokyo Identities NFT Collection
Neo Tokyo Identities presents 2,027 characters in the world of Neo Tokyo, both males and females. They belong to different classes, have different eye colors and different abilities. A total of 33 classes are represented. Among them you can find Driver, Bartender, Builder, Cook, Worker and many other categories. The text color of these tokens depends on their rarity.
Some facts about the collection:
- Released in October 2021,
- Sales volume exceeded 14.5k ETH,
- Floor price is 3.95 ETH.
Vault Cards NFT Collection
Vault Cards in Neo Tokyo are similar to a bank account. In Vault, users store credit ratings, supply items, and more. But the most important thing is that Vault stores the collection’s native tokens, $BYTES.
Moreover, the team provided a link to the contract for minting Vault Cards. Each Neo Tokyo owner had two hours to get one Vault. If he / she didn’t make it in that time, other whitelisted users could “steal” the Vault from him / her.
If holders do not grab in that time, people on the white list (game winners) will be able to steal their vault box.
Groups will be given access every 10 minutes starting with group 1.
There are 4 groups. The 2 winner groups. A pile of 2k losers.https://t.co/TzNuXZlbUL

Neo Tokyo Land Deeds
The Land Deeds collection consists of 2,146 NFT, the fourth component of the “gentleman’s kit” required for a Neo Tokyo resident. Owners of the above three components can get Land Deeds for free. These are virtual lands distributed over various communities. The acquisition process was gradual, that is, you had to go through all three stages of accumulation to get Land Deeds.
Some facts about the collection:
- Released in November 2021,
- Sales volume exceeded 3k ETH,
- Floor price is 1.5 ETH.
Neo Tokyo Citizens
Finally, owners of all four components could download their codes to gain Neo Tokyo Citizen status. Unlike Identities, which are just code lines, Neo Tokyo Citizens have the status of full-fledged characters with detailed artwork.

Alex Becker announced the conditions for inclusion in the Outer Identities whitelist, and in just a few minutes it was already full. Users were given 1 hour to burn $BYTES and become owners of the new tokens. The more $BYTES a person burned, the rarer their Outer Identities character would be.
Next, Alex Becker invited the Season 1 players to participate in a series of Tournaments, which would be broadcasted on Twitch. The winners were promised cool rewards (though it was not specified what kind of rewards that would be).
S2 Outer Citizens will be guaranteed an identity.
But will battle in the grandest of STREAMED SERIES of Tournaments on Twitch…for their position, items and lands in Neo Tokyo.

Opinion of NFTmetria
The Neo Tokyo Identities project has won the hearts of thousands of crypto fans. This is a prestigious and elite NFT community which aims to include active and highly intelligent users into its ranks (not without reason, the condition for getting tokens was to solve a number of riddles). In turn, the authors are not stingy with bonuses and privileges for loyal project participants. Hot competitions with live broadcasting on Twitch, plots of land in the metaverse, branded exclusive merchandise, the opportunity to earn $BYTES – these are the advantages that attract new adherents to the large family of Neo Tokyo.
