The NFTs, available for purchase via credit card or Wrapped Ether (wETH), hold a distinctive feature—they are non-transferable until December 31, 2024. Even crypto buyers need to undergo Know Your Customer (KYC) verification, adding an extra layer of security.
The theme behind the “MugShot” edition centers around Trump’s historic arrest in Fulton County, Georgia, on August 24, 2023—the first-ever mugshot of a U.S. President. The website explains, “In the photo, Trump has a furrowed brow with a determined gaze which says he’ll never surrender.”
Buyers who acquire 47 or more digital trading cards, priced at $99 each, are promised “a piece of the president’s ACTUAL suit from his famous mugshot & dinner at Mar-a-Lago with the President.” This marks Trump’s third (first and second Trump NFT collections on the links) foray into the NFT space following previous successes, and even Melania Trump, the former First Lady, has dabbled in NFT collections.
